Hey guys! New to this forum and new to the corvette game! Getting my first corvette tomorrow and can't wait! 2001 C5. Has 120k miles so not too bad at all. It's bone stock so first thing I want to do is exhaust, any suggestions?

My suggestion is find a car show or a local Corvette Club and see if you can get the owners to let you hear whatever aftermarket exhaust they have on their cars.
I have had a B&B Route 66 catback on my '00 and liked the looks but hated the drone and popping. Solved most of that with an x-pipe.
My current C5 has a Corsa Indy Pace Car catback on it and for me, the sound is great, quality and looks are and no drone/popping.

I've heard videos of the corsa Indy pace car and I think it sounds great! Videos don't do them justice though and I know that. I'll have to visit a few car shows looks like!
I have the Corsa Touring Tiger Sharks with X-pipe on my 2001 and I love them. Of course you may not like the Touring version if you want to wake up the neighbors!

You have to hear it for yourself. Youtube videos and the like give you an idea but nothing like hearing them in person!

I've always been a fan of a deep mean sound. Kind of like the sound of the borla straight pipe! Heard one on YouTube and it seems like my style but I've still got to hear some in person!
Good to see you're a quick learner! My Corsa Pace/Indy was installed when I bought my car so I didn't have to go through the process. If you ask me it's way too much money for not hearing one first.
Looks clean and mean. Congratulations, and welcome to the forum! If you like the muscle car sound, your best bet will be Borla, B&B, or GHL. Good luck.

Appreciate the info!! Definitely will look into them!
Does anyone know if the C5s come with the dual exhaust mode like the C6s do? I've tried to look just haven't had any luck. If so, I may just pull the fuse and see how well she sounds stock for now!
Looks to be a very nice ride. Congrats! Also looks like your parking/work area is well equipped. Large compressor, Lincoln tombstone buzz box and 'refreshment' fridge. You'll do well here.
I've got a Corsa on my '86, love it! My '03 has the Z06 titanium cat back, like it too. Just be aware the LSx motors have a different firing order than the old sbc motors, this results in a different exhaust note. Hence all the advice your getting about hearing them in person.
Also looks like your ride has the HUD, man I just love that in my '03. Think you'll like it too.
