I got a couple questions, one is kind of stupid the others have merit, I have always wondered is it Z zero six or Z o as in the letter six? Sorry, just always wondered. Now on to my real questions, when I get out of College in about 4 years, if my grades are good my dad told me he'll help me get a loan for 20K to buy a new car, keep in mind my Trans Am will be 13 when I graduate. Will that be enough for a 01 Z06, it'll be about 5 years old, another thing the insurance is cheaper on a Vette than a Trans Am, so is the insurance a lot higher on the Z06 than the Vettes?

While I don't a own a magic crystal ball, 20-24K should be about right for an 01 Z06 in 4 years. By then, the C6 will be out along with the new high powered version. The Supra is also probably coming back and the 01 has less power and refinement than the 02/03 Z06 so it should sell for around 20K (will depend on miles and condition as well). This represents 45-50% of original MSRP for a 5 year old car. Sounds about right for a high performance car like the Z06.
