Default HRE wheel help

I brought my HRE547's to Goodyear tire to have new Nitto NT05's installed with new TP sensors. I was told my TP sensors don't fit because the hole in rims are to small . Bummer. So I had them put the tires on the rims with no sensors. So is there away to put the TP sensors on the HRE wheels or do i need special TP sensors?
Also is there anyway fix the scuffs in this wheel or no?

If the holes for the valve stems on the stock TPS is too small, you may have to look into getting something like band clamps and installing them that way. Contact HRE or one of the forum vendors that sells those wheels and see what they say.

very nice rims! As for scuffs...you will have to research that and try several different techniques. You can try metal cleaner by several of the detail polishing companies or you may have to take it further and actually use different grades of sandpaper. forum member Toque did a great demo in a thread on here for his technique.

Tire pressure sensors on HRE wheels, in my experience can be a pain in the butt.

It's easier if they were built with the intention of using the sensors. Mine were, but because of their placement, getting the tires off, according to the folks that put my tires on back in September, is more difficult-especially if you don't know exactly where they are.

If you contact HRE, they can help. They have records of all their wheels that they have built. The original owner of mine gave me his information, that I then gave to HRE when I needed to buy more valve stem extensions.
