Recently purchased a c5z. The outer door skin appears to be loose at the top and front of the driver's door. You can see it flex out if you let the door swing the whole way out. Has anyone else experienced this? I have yet to take the inner door panel off to investigate.
My drivers side door's skin is also loose in one spot which is near the mirror mounting area. Rattles a little when i close the door. I was wondering if I could probably pump some of that 2 part panel adhesive into the area and let it dry, or would i need to somehow clamp the 2 panels together ?
I repaired mine without removing the door, some weight was leaned against the outer door skin where the glue was and aluminum tape was used to add more clamping force. The 24 hour epoxy has held for over seven years so far, a $5 fix not counting the aluminum tape. If you try the panel adhesive let us know how it worked out.

Hmm, Never thought of using 24 hr Epoxy simple because I didn't think it would hold up. Might have to give that a try.
It's been a few years and I can't remember what brand, most of the choices now at Lowes and Home Depot are fast curing but Amazon has some 24 hour epoxy. Saturate both sides of the delaminated area well with the glue before clamping, something like pipe cleaners get the glue into tight places.
