I live in Madison WI and Dennis has my bezel now, few more weeks and might be finished so I am thinking of taking a half day and doing a trip to thank Dennis in person and checkout his operation.

Cheers Dennis & Donna

Evil Twin's comments on a volume control **** led me to purchase my Kenwood (also bought from Dennis). I agree with Bill...best choice I could have ever made.

It's sad, however, that Dennis is unable to find good employees to do the Lord's work. It's a sign of our times, and is honestly the reason why so many immigrants come here...to do work that our spoiled kids find beneath them.

When I ordered my Kenwood Dennis convinced me to get the volume **** version. Since then my new since then Daily driver uses a touch volume, so now that I'm used to that, I sometimes wish I had the same on my Kenwood.LOL

Anyway on the help subject, I am self-employed and work alone. I have had many people ask me why I don't have a helper. My answer is they have to be kidding, I'd waste more time if I had. If I can't do it myself it doesn't get done. At least if something gets screwed up, I know who did it.

I bought a second stock bezel on e-bay and sent that one to Dennis so I wouldn't have to take my car apart until the installation. Then when my bezel was done, I sold mine on e-bay. No down time and I think I came out slightly ahead.

I've just been driving bezel-less. I fear that I've lost the screws somewhere in my garage though...

I actually made ( fabricated )a cardboard filler panel and sprayed it black so I would not have to look at my car's exposed innards... after a few days, it was a non issue. I kept all the screws in a Baggie in the console.

I just ordered my Kenwood package yesterday from Dennis. I'm sending the bezel this week. I plan to drive without the bezel too but it will be so worth it. Thanks for the hard work Dennis, we all appreciate what you do!!

Default Double D bezel for sale.

Someone has a Double D bezel for sale in the C5 parts for sale forum. As for me, I'lll wait for my package from Dennis. The radios aren't out yet anyway!

So I ordered a Kenwood that is in stock, does anyone know if Dennis ships the radio and install hardware separate from the bezel so I can install the new radio while I wait for the reworked bezel?

Thanks, I agree on the final adjustments 8VETTE7. I'll drop him a line to confirm. It would be nice to have the new HU to ease the pain of no bezel for a month.
