Gold wheels? or chrome?
I shot a couple of my wheels quick this afternoon, and I'm not really sure I like it all that much. Maybe a tone that is darker, and not so bright? or maybe I should try bronze on the other side? Could be the chrome just looks extra nice because the brake parts are all painted to make the chrome pop. Maybe I just need to get them powder coated?

I like the gold/bronze although I think an even darker shade would work. You're right, the chrome does not look right on flat black.

when you showed the car after you Plasti Diped it I also thought the wheels didn't look right, I agree a little darker on the gold/bronze

A lil darker will probably set it off!! As others have sadi, the chrome doesnt quite go with the Satin black IMHO..

I really don't mind when people do things to their cars. I don't know, I just can't get used to these things that don't shine.

Of the pics posted I vote for the chrome - That's not to say I do not like gold wheels which couldn't be farther from the truth but IMO the chrome wheels look better in this application.

Darker bronze/gold. In the pic they almost look brown.

Between the two I'd vote chrome (and I've never been a chrome guy).

With the matte black exterior, I think the bronze/gold (although a different shade than you currently have on the wheels) would look good.

Ok, I picked up the stuff to do bronze. I'm going to do a matte black base with a couple coats of clear, loaded with copper metal flake. Then I'm thinking all black gloss brake parts, and yellow calipers
