Larger sway bars, firmer shocks, firmer spring. There were two different Z51 arrangement, 99 and earlier and 00-04 with the later cars receiving larger sway bars.

Magnetic ride control in the C7, stiffer suspension, bigger sways, huge brakes, slotted rotors, bigger tires, split front bumper, air dams, functioning vents in rear, controlled exhausts via switch etc.
Makes my wife complain that she can't text while she's riding with me. But I only notice it when I take a curve a little fast. Really keeps the car flat and the tires planted.
My C4 was a Z51 and I miss the handling compared to the softer base suspension in my C5. At the very latest I will be upgrading to either C6 Z06 or Z51sway bars this winter.
Later c5 z51 cars get the c5z front spring, specific rate rear spring, c5z shocks, sways, end links, and the power steering cooler. Fairly low production numbers per year.
All FRC's came with Z51 and 3.42 rear axle. I love my 2000, and the ride isn't too stiff to enjoy driving on normal roads. Also they were all 6 speed manual transmission cars.
