Anyone know?
I have the opportunity to buy a used MGW shift. It is 5 years old, does this model include the lower billet or completely different design than new one?

I am
not speaking from experience with MGW shifters, but from experience with things in life in general. Is it worth to save $160 buying a
used and
lesser model ? If I were going to buy, $160 saved wouldn't be remotely worth considering.
Buy once, buy right.

I have not driven one of the new ones, but I love my MGW shifter. It is about 5 or 6 years old.
I thought it was a bit notchy, but I did the antivenom mod with one washer and to me it feels great now.
I doubt that you can make a bad choice between your two options. They both should be great.

I never felt the older MGW but I have the newier MGW with the billet lower box and love it. Well worth the money to me.

I have not, but I always wanted to try it out to see if it makes a difference.
