I've never used his services personally, but Marc@vettenuts.net is a vendor here on the forum. More often than not, people are directed to him for hard to find parts.

I will be getting 4 soon for my 99'. I'm leaning towards the Schrader 28006 from tire rack for $70/each. One vendor sells the conversion kit to the newer style sensors and fobs. Some have posted with mixed results of cheaper auction site sensors.

From what I have read, the Schrader 28006 are the OEM that are private labeled. They should perform exactly the same as those from GM.

About 4 weeks ago I installed the Schrader 28006 in my 1998 Vert work was done at Discount Tire. They programmed easy just like the original OEM sensors and are working fine. I believe Schrader was the OEM supplier.

I bought some from Amazon a few months ago. I just installed them today. They are working just fine. They are less than $75 a piece. Just type or copy "Schrader 28006" in the search on Amazon.

I went with these and they're working just fine for 3 years.

Do you have the pairing instructions you can post for those? Are they the magnet or pressure method? I can't see anything on their website? Interesting that alot of their support areas constantly quote and present Schrader, but they are selling a cheaper knock off.

Upon closer review of their website, with these you need a scan tool which is quite costly. Might be hit or miss if your installer has the scan tool, so you will need to confirm this in advance. I'd get the specific make and type documented.

I went to my regular tire shop (Town Fair Tire). Bought new tires, had these installed along with tires and balanced. I don't know what they used to sync them up. But they didn't have any issues.
