Default DRL lights

Just installed new corner lights and both bulbs(4157?) seem to work on the first "click" setting being the exterior lights on minus the headlights. But whenever the DRL are engaged only one side works, just replaced both bulbs when I changed the corner lights as well and are both halogen. Any ideas what this could be?

First click is parking lights (lower power circuit) The DRL and Turn signal use the high power circuit.

1) Turn on your hazards to make sure both bulbs will light with the high power circuit. (this will eliminate the bulb as the problem)

2) If the bulbs work and one side is not lighting with the DRL, it is most likely a DRL relay issue (look in your passenger side foot well fuse box) Note the location of the DRL relays and swap them. See if the the bulb not lighting changes sides. If so, you need a new relay. If not, there may be a wiring issue.

I on occasion still have that bizarre problem we spoke about - when the DRL's are on (headlight switch completely off) I step on my brakes and the DRL's go out. Brakes off and DRL's come back on.

that you got it figured out. Kind of surprised there was so much stuff inside the sockets.

me too actually but then again I replaced both housings because the bulbs would go out after rainfall. Turns out top of the DRL assembly for both sides was cracked bummer.
