I am having a local shop replace the stock headers with a set of XSpowers and air intake with a halltech venom next week and then tune everything. Was wondering what else I should have them do while they are in there?
2003Z - 33k miles, stock except for MGW shifter and B&B bullets (being replaced with stock TIs with new headers). I have owned for 2 years so unsure on last plug change (if any). I did all the fluids when I bought it.
Was thinking plugs and wires would make sense but is there anything else that people would recommend that would be easier to do with the header install now rather than later?
Plugs as you might break one and they're cheap. Wires as they'll not come out alive. Iridium plugs and GMPP wires from Cultrag.
Otherwise sounds like you are good to go.
I ceramic coated the headers - do you think that the tunnel plate would still be necessary? Not sure it would have that much impact on heat in the cabin given the ceramic coating, but I am trying to keep heat in the cabin to a minimum.

I had my Super Pros coated front to back and zero issues with heat in the cabin. Unless your looking for a stiffer frame, your good to go.
