I'm going to capitulate after 15 years and install a front plate The clear acrylic cover painted Millenium yellow. Where is the best place to find a factory correct spray can?
PP&G paint centers can custom match colors just like the GM079 paint code which is the code for mellenium yellow and put it in a spray can for you, I did it and it was around $21.00 but it is an exact color match for your car. I did my center caps on my wheels and the mirror backs on the visors with it, came out perfect. I also used it on a bad scratch that I got on my front right bumper right below the brake duct and it wrapped around to the side, used this same spray paint to touch it up, It came out ok, I didn't even sand it or it would have been even better. If you blow up the picture-you can still see the actual scratch under the yellow paint, I will fill it in then sand it , primer it then redo the yellow so it is perfect. BTW... it is an acrylic based paint so it's safe to use on surfaces like plastics unlike some enamels and lacquers. Here are some pics for you.

Any auto paint store can match your color. I see this question here all the time. Don't you guys ever buy paint from your local auto paint store? I live in a town of 50,000 and we have three of them. Where does your car shops and auto paint shops get paint from? Ask them.
Yes there are a lot of auto paint suppliers to choose from, I just suggested PP&G because that's where I went to get mine and had great results so I passed it on, that's all

Wait...
If you paint the clear cover MY - how are you going to see the plate -
and why would you install a plate and then cover it with a painted cover...
Looks good. Did you spray the cover on the inside or outside, and how many coats did you apply, because it looks like an excellent match to the rest of the bumper?
I sprayed the INSIDE of the cover.
There is another thread on here with a walk-through of how to prep and do it. Obviously, the first coat is the most important. As such, the first coat is very thin and smooth. Then the follow on couple of coats (probably 4 total) really add the depth and pigment.
The first thing I did was mount the license plate on the car, and then the clear plastic cover. Note, my plate is not sucked all the way to the top where the factory holes are. I made a few mods and moved the plate lower, to the center of the recess. I did have to grind off the lower corners of the license plate. Make sure you paint these too so they won't rust. Once I had everything where I wanted it, I used masking tape over the outside of the cover specify exactly where I wanted the window to be. Then I taped the inside to match that window; and covered the entire thing front and back in tape before painting.
I didn't want square corners on the 'window', so I used a craft punch that my GF has, to punch out round pieces of vinyl graphic material. Then I taped from each rounded corner with just plain yellow auto body masking tape (available from box auto parts stores).
