Default Turn signal problems

My right front turn signal is acting like they do when the bulb is burned out but the DRLs light up. Any idea what's going on?

Could be the Multifunction Switch. What happens when you use the Hazards?

He said the bulb worked fine. His DRL works so it is not the bulb.

I'm just asking, but aren't the turn signal/drl dual element bulbs?

Anyway, when my drl still worked and the turn signal would not (fast flashing of the dash turn indicator), it ended up being corrosion at the bulb socket. It seems the drl melts a hole in the lamp housing allowing water to enter, which results in corrosion of the electrical contacts of the socket.

The OEM bulbs have two filaments:
  • One for the DRL/Turn Signal
  • One for the Parking Light

Thanks. Maybe I was looking at the parking light, instead of the drl.

Like I said check the bulbs first. I made the same assumption about the DRL working as well.

I turned on the emergency flashers and they flashed at the proper speed except for the one on the front right side which didn't come on at all.

OK, that tells me it is either the Right DRL relay or in the wiring. That just ruled out the MF and Hazard switch as an issue. Might want to swap the relays and see if the problem swaps sides. They are in the I/P fuse box.

so this is where I am. I swapped the micro relay for the drl left and right. That didn't change anything. I removed the relay for the drls and turned on the turn signal and the left side still worked. I went in under the car and removed both bulbs from the housing and they both work but not when the turn signnal is on for the right side. Any thought?

Hazard switch is going bad. Try just slightly pushing on the hazard switch and turn on the turn signal. If it work the hazard switch is bad.

PROBLEM SOLVED. Thanks to everyone who contributed. The simplest solution is usually the right one. It was the yellow 2 stage bulb. One was working while the other was burned out. Y'all have taught me far more than I ever thought I needed to know about lights. Thanks for all the help.
