Need help with squeaks
Hi Guys,
last fall I had some squeaks and I replaced all 4 pulleys and the 2 belts. After waking up the car this spring they are back.
Now when the motor is cold it squeaks bad. After about 5 - 10 minuets it squeaks with the RPM's around 1500 and up. not at idle.
After about 20 minuets all is quiet. I thought it might be the alternator but I don't think so. Hard to tell where the sound is coming from.
2 of the new pulleys are AC Delco and 2 are aftermarket. Belts are Goodyear or AC Delco. Car is a 99 6 speed vert. Did I get a bad replacement pulley? Any thoughts?
