Default Driver window leaking - suggestions

1999 coupe. Window never leaked. Ahole shattered my window (son was driving - pissed dude off). Replaced window (after market). NO leak for months. Then leak. Installer adjusted. NO leak. Then leak again months later. You could see window no longer hitting weather stripping each time.

Go the Chevy dealer to get it fixed one and for all. Told need new weather stripping. They did new WS on Targa top and back of driving compartment. (Up drivers window, wraps around back of Targa top and down passenger window). $1,700 installed!

Well, guess what, still leaks. Now they say it's the after market drivers window..... $900 for that! WTF

HELP

Car is either in Orlando FL area or Wilmington DE area if anyone knows of competent shop to go to.....

Thanks

Search the forum on how to adjust the window. There are about adjustments for up/down, in/out and tip in/out. It's easy to do, but is a trial and error process. Make your adjustments, take it for a ride at hiway speeds and listen for air noise, then get out the garden hose. Repeat as req'd. Good luck.

Was there a problem with this guy? I would have just taken it back to him again... sounds like he was doing a good job... just need some more adjustment...
I'd go see if he'd help you out again... Sorry the stealership bent you over so hard
