Default Sell or trash ?

I have a base stock corvette axle back exhaust, there is only 26K miles on it, it's in good condition. Should I try to sell or just trash the thing? Personally I don't see why anybody would want the stock exhaust.

And I have 4 stock corvette rims, how much should I price them at, I would say they are in good condition.

Hi, when I removed the stock exhaust, I just ended up trashing it. Mine was in great condition, so I kind of regretted it.. for about 5 mins. But I doubt anyone would want the stock exhaust and if they did, what would you get... maybe $50? Wasn't worth it for me. You will probably be able to sell the wheels though. Especially if they are 5 spoke aluminum. They could be useful for someone's track car (to mount drag radials) or just as a spare replacement for road rash. You'd have to post a pic of the wheels for anyone to make a fair assessment though.

If someone was returning their car to stock they might want the exhaust, but a local sale would be about the only way it would be cost effective for them. You might get $50-100 for the exhaust.

The wheels might bring $200-250 in good shape.

There's a guy on this site that buys most of the oem stuff that you think is worthless. I would post it for sell and see if he wants it

One mans TRASH is another mans TREASURE...
It would be a nice gesture to, at the very least offer to give them to a fellow forum member in the part/for sale section...

FWIW, a couple years ago, I paid 50 each for OEM '01 chromed 5 spokes (front).

Shirl got the why - for spares in case something happen(s/ed) to the ones I have now...peeling, pitting, curb rash, etc)
At 50$, was too hard to refuse.

How old are you? Keep it for 20-30 years and the NCRS nit pickers will be all over that stuff, lol.

No offense to the hyper sensitive NCRS nit pickers. Rock On

People try and sell the base exhaust for $50-100, hard to say if they ever sell. Saw one trying to get $300, Ti prices... no harm trying the former.

About 10 years ago I bought a 98 red coupe with aftermarket exhaust, I think it was Bassani. I'm sure it cost the previous owner some good money. After driving the car for about 2 weeks was ready to shoot myself with the drone and noise. Bought the stock exhaust (mufflers) off craigslist for about $100, and I thought I had bought a new car. Don't get me wrong, I like a good sounding exhaust, but there is a big difference when it is just noise and drone.

Also, not sure what wheels you have, but craigslist is free, and even cheap wagon wheels can bring $200, 5 spoke $300+.

Some people look for a stock exhaust.

When I was selling my FRC, I wanted to keep the Borla exhaust that I had on the car, so I put a stock exhaust back on.

I would try selling it. Probably only about $50 if it has the chrome tips or $25 if it is the early black tips.

Good luck.
