i just finished installing my hud unit and bezels for the gauges, it turned out great and was relatively painless thanks to all the info on these forums, the only question i have is this,
when turning on the key all functions light up on the display and i recognize all of them accept for the number 2 to the left of the mph, should this be a shift indicator and if so why doesn't any thing appear there when driving,
i will add that i did have the cags disabled on a previous tune
once again thanks to all who posted wright ups on these diy projects

Good question. I checked mine and it showed that same #2. The owner's manual really doesn't mention it and I couldn't find it anywhere in the factory service manual.
I just went out, turned on the HUD (never use it), even switched to MPH (in Canada, standard is KPH); nada... to the left of MPH is a big fat 0, as I'm not moving on initial key turn. Am I looking at the wrong spot or at the wrong time?
