i figured it out. I wasn't too sure the brand of the headlights but I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome.
They are generally called ACA projector headlights after the now gone company that made them years ago. I have a set of the originals that came with Phillips HID ballasts and bulbs.
Many knockoffs are now sold on eBay, some with decent projectors, some not so much.
I have modified mine some so that they only open about half as high as stock yet my low beam HIDs still adjust to their legal beam height. I like mine quite a bit and the original Phillips HID ballasts and bulbs are still working great.
They go for a steal on the auction site and for a few more $$ and brain power you can upgrade the projectors if they're not that good, but for the most part most people will do just fine with the projectors included depending on the quality.

Basically what I did. Got them cheap on fleabay then bought a generic HID kit to put in. Sold them with my popups a few years ago that covered half the cost of my radioflyers
