For that kind of price, got to wonder what else is wrong with the car. Sure looks like some body panel alignment issues at a minimum.

It's not a car I would just send the money and have it shipped out to me. It sure looks like it has potential for the low budget guy who like to get his hands dirty. I assume some people pay this much for wrecks just to part out.

Yep that is a travel/local buy.
From the pics, it does not look bad. Would be a great project to build a monster car!

Wow sweet deal for a Low buck guy to invest in over time. Couple grand you'll have a new trans. of course then comes the rest, from a tune to shocks to brakes tires upholstery etc etc

..You'll be in it 10K before you know it.

Looks like a 15 year old driver with a bad transmission and every other standard wear issue on a 15 year old car.

You may be correct but you don't know that for sure. It's a used car and you know the trans is not working. Standard buyer beware applies as to any other used car.

On a 15 year old car you shouldn't think all is perfect. When considering private purchase of an "as is/where is" car all you can do is check what you can and figure you are fixing or updating some things.

For me I would figure on, at MINIMUM, complete brake and rotor replacement and system flush, plugs and wires, cooling system flush, belts and hoses, clean MAF and throttle body, wiper blades, seat cover and foam replacement, tires, transmission shift cable as well as trans rebuild/replace.

As someone said you are into this car at $10,000. Is that bad for a running, driving, fresh brakes, tires, tune up, cooling system, rebuilt trans with fresh seats car? I don't think so. But that's just me.

I think you could part it out and come out ahead if the car was not worth fixing. I would be interested because I can do all the work myself.

Why is it so difficult for people to list useful information when they put things on CL?

I've spoken with others who went down that rabbit hole, was not worth the effort given the attention needed to ship large items and dealing with every tire kicker south of the North Pole ....

Very difficult in my opinion. I'm trying to sell a 2008 C6 shifter and getting no bites in the classified section. It will eventually sell but parting out an entire car could take a very long time. Might not be worth it at all.
