Drive it!!! Just be aware. It takes awhile for the smile muscles to develop. They will be sore until they do. Enjoy!!!

Drive, enjoy, learn, maintenance, mods...

I'm certainly no expert, but I suggest getting to know your car a little before you start tearing into things.

Simple maintenance, changing fluids, LMC5.

There's plenty to read here!

Congrats and Good Luck!

Congratulations on your new old baby! As suggested above, simple maintenance, fluids etc., so that you have a baseline to work from. You will find this forums members are incredibly helpful with any and all questions you may have regarding your new to you vette. Anyway, stir it all together and you have a recipe for good fun for the summer. By the way, great timing on your purchase to enjoy great open top driving! Good luck and best wishes!

Check over maintenance records and tire date codes and see where you stand. then make a plan to update fluids, belts, tires etc. Everything doesn't have to be done at once.

Get your codes, address any issues the codes reveal and routine maintenance needs. Learn your vette before moving onto mods...

With such low mileage you probably still have the original tires. I would swap them out asap, you'll be amazed on how much better the ride and handling will be.

Congrats. Enjoy the ride. First and foremost is change ALL fluids if there is no record of them being done within the last three years. Also, as was stated check the date on the tires and if they're more than 7-8 years old replace them.

Good advice. Make sure the car is in top running condition then decide on what mods, if any, you want to do.

Congrats and welcome to the insanity club. If your single , Its an amazing girl getter, and if your married...well its still an amazing girl getter, just don't get caught..lol. You can still do lots of mods that don't require mechanical issues, like new wheels ,tires, paint, spoilers, skirts, upgraded sound systems ect... but like everyone else is saying , be sure to check out all the fluids and such and see where your car stands on a mechanical point of view before doing any mods to the driveline. We here at the forum are here to help you , Enjoy your new ride. CorvetteVBob

Talked to the dealer. At least one steering wheel recall has been done - I'll dig through the paperwork closer tomorrow on delivery. Is the LMC5 still recommended even if the recall was done?

Odd - my last post didn't post. Going to give the paperwork a better look tomorrow when I pick it up, but dealer said the column recall was addressed. You all still recommend the LMC5 anyways?

The recall did not fix the issue. They attempted several times and none of them permanently fixed the issue. The only way to truly be safe is to install the LCM5.

You STILL need to do the LMC5 Module regardless of what the dealership says...
Get the skip shift delete too, if it hasn't been done...
Read the STICKIES...
C6 shifter and C6 Z06 shocks are both very nice low budget upgrades...
C5 Z06 catback exhaust is another nice upgrade also...
The Vararam CAI is also a nice upgrade and can usually be purchased from a fellow forum member in the C5 parts for sale section...
Non run flats are a big improvement... other than the Michelin Pilots
heard good things about them...
Sound deadening helps a LOT...
The stock stereo can be sufficient with upgraded speakers and an Ipod/Bluetooth adapter/reciever...from Double D Mods
Congrats and have fun
