Need help with severe skip
Need help chasing a severe misfire. Engine misfires when cold started. Misfire is so bad it shakes the car when under power. Also will pop from time to time. As the car comes up to operating temperature the skip will lessen and eventually go away. It is most noticeable when under power and the engine is luging just a little. This skip is serious like it is only running on 5 or 6 cylinders.
NO Check engine light and NO codes????????????

Used DIC to check codes. None
No flashing or constant check engine light.
Plugs (AC Delco Iridium) and wires (GM Red) are relatively new with just over 5000 miles.
All plug wires are on solid (2 clicks)

Had a similar problem with my /76 Ford pickup. Took the mechanic hours to find, it was a loose wire in the distributor that maintained contact most of the time. Sounds like you have a loose connection somewhere. HTH.
