If you are going to use water make sure to stay clear of the intake area. The knock senors are under it in a recess and that fills with water then shorts out the knock sensors. I use wesley bleche-wite with a fine spray and then a water bottle with a fine spray to rinse. engine warm to hot !!!

Maybe I'm overly paranoid, but the thought of high pressure water and sensitive electronics gives me the chills. I use light spray of cleaner/detailer from a hand held bottle and a rag, mixed with some good old fashioned elbow grease. Have a good one!

I'd do like the others and use a spray bottle and towel. I use Aerospace 303 for my interior on my seats,dash, doors, but also use it to clean the engine bay. I don't like the idea of using a hose to spray the engine bay down and having water just sit in place.
