I had some extra acrylic laying around and decided I wanted a better look on my license plate area. (this was not transparent so my backup lights are not going to work, but you could buy the transparent if you like)(I have a backup camera)
First I cut off the lens of the backup lights and sanded smooth.
good work looks like it fills the gaps very well. Diffucult to get a cut as clean as yours
It could be better, might redo at some point. I used a scroll saw and sand the edges !!! With the protective backing that the acrylic comes with not that hard. One other tip I used a tile cutting drill bit, worked great, no cracking !!!!
Sorry didn't know what else to call it the hole the plate and rev.lights go in.maybe I made a name for it.maybe it's just the pic it looks darker than the silver paint.i thought you had painted it black also.look at the pic if,it's just a shadow I thank it would look nice black.

I thought you saw my as* in the reflection and I thought maybe you been logging too many hours in your rig ???? I think that is a Great suggestion !!!! I will plastic dip it and see how it looks and will report !!!!! Your check is in the mail !!!!

Definitely to many hours,but always legal.i call my car and dog my pimps,they get all my money and I do all the work.
