I just installed a new Corsa sport also Known as pace car exhaust. I am surprised how quiet it is thought it would be louder. I replaced my Mid America Quad Qruiser Exhaust with the sport and the Quad Qruiser is actually louder. Do you think the exhaust will be a little louder after a few miles? Stock cats X pipe, no headers or cam, Vararam intake.

Find an open road, put it in low and mash the gas. Let us know what you think then. A sleeping dog won't bark till you step on its tail.
I've got the Corsa Sport on mine. Plenty loud enough for me. Nice rumble when idling and at WOT it's loud enough to wake up the dead. I've heard that they do get louder over time.

Mine would not come close to waking up the dead lol. I hope your right.
I just installed the actual 1998 Indy Pace Car Exhaust. Even got the original shipping box with them. Guy states they had about 2,000 miles on them.
NICE
Loud enough for me. For now.
Bought the Kooks LT Headers and 3" pipe with new high flow Cats from another member here, should be arriving soon....

Yeah, I have them too and they're to tame for me except at WOT. The problem is I can't drive at WOT the majority or even half the time. I have long tube headers and high flow cats too. I will definitely swap them out for the extremes at some point

I have the Indy Pace Car exhaust on mine and when I jump on the gas, people notice. I wouldn't want it any louder. If yours isn't loud, that would be very strange.
When I had my 2001 Z51 vert, I had the Corsa X-pipe and sport exhaust installed. Was disappointed in the sound. Corsa claims improved gas mileage with that set up. My mileage went from 29 mpg consistently on the highway before the Corsa system to 27 mpg with the Corsa system. For me it was a big waste of money.

Unsure how mufflers could get one better mileage. Worse sure (mashing it more?).
Doing some research on the Corsa Extreme, all the sites say you must also purchase the X-Pipe. I already have an x-pipe mated to my TI exhaust. For those of you that installed an Extreme did you also purchase and install the x-pipe.

I did, but I am sure that you do not need to. The flanges are in the same spot and are the same type.

Can't understand why so many focus on the fuel efficiency of these cars. For most they are infrequently driven toys. Even if the Corsa gained 2 MPG it would take years and years to amortize the cost of a Corsa system at 2 MPG.
I have the Sport and yes it is mild under normal acceleration, but WOT it screams.
I used to love loud cars, but now a days I am more interested in the quality of the sound. The area we live in has lots of 16-30yo's with tuners and fart cans..... I just chuckle when they drive by me.....
I do however think that Corsa is probably the best exhaust manufacturer out there next to Akrapovic.....
I have had Black Widow, Flowmaster, Magnaflow, and Corsa on various V8's over the years and all around the Corsa is superior to all of them.
Post up a video of your exhaust if you get the chance....

Spoke to corsa rep yesterday and he recommended high flow cats do you think they would make much difference?
