I am sure someone has the answer to this question. Last night I was applying some WD40 to the trunk latch and trunk struts and I noticed a wire coming out of the back of the waterfall. It appears to be some sort of release cable. Ran out of time last night and forgot to check the manual. Anyone know specifically what the cable is for? TIA
Yeah I will tonight, just ran out of time last evening. Read it front and back when I got it last fall, but had no recollection of this cable. Well aware of the fuel door release.
There is also an emergency trunk release that would be impossible to reach if your trunk is full. I hooked a cord to the handle and ran it to the front for when we go on trips. Just in case.
