On my '03, I believe it is fuse number 20 in the passenger foot well. Not sure what year your car is - but you can check the listing of fuses in the owner's manual for your car.
mine too was acting up, put my foot under the brake pedal and pulled it up and the cruise worked. pulled the panel under the dash (felt like it was the hottest day of the year!)adjusted the right brake switch 1 click and moved the metal retainer in also. the cruise works fine now.

Google info about adjusting the brake switch. There are two of them under the brake pedal. Push them in until you hear them click. Hardest part is getting to them...........
In my case this worked - while seated behind the wheel I reached down and pulled the brake pedal towards me - I heard a distinct 'click' (hope nothing broke) and voila the CC started working again! Just in time for a 3h blast north this afternoon.
