No return wave!! What gives?

I figure most who don't wave are busy driving. I know it happens to me.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

1. They don't know about it
2. They don't care even if they do know about it.
3. Tinted windows (they can't see you) or vise-versa (you can't see them waving back)
4. Texting
5. Full attention on car and eyes on road only
6. Female (not 100% accurate but females tend to think you're after more than just a wave - thus the "You're #1" return wave - sigh)
7. Snobby (they think they're better than anyone else)
8. Distracted by one of a gazillion things
9. Rockin' out to a cool song on their high $$ stereo and no attention to outside things (see #8).
10. That's just the way America is now. So hard to trust anyone, everyone just rolls up into their little shell and hopes everyone leaves them alone.
Feel free to add your own reasons as well.
If you remember my old thread https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1585166373 that girl and I were driving side by side on I-35 at approximately the same speeds for a brief period of time. I was doing 75, she was going 80. I slightly sped up to stay with her while taking the pics. I think she suffered from #1, #5, #6, possibly #7 or #10. Maybe #8 (wind noise from the top being down at 80mph).
I don't lose any sleep over any of em.

I guess as humans we look for the common bond in our fellow humans. Same favorite sports teams, same college or high school, same town, same state when on vacation, same shirt, same car/truck, same taste in beers...
Personally, I'll return a wave if someone initiates it but otherwise I just enjoy the drive.
