I used to have a corvette t-shirt that I would wear occasionally to car shows and cruise in's but I wouldn't dress up in corvette themed clothes just to go to Walmart or McD's...
I bought a Corvette T-shirt a few months before I even bought my Vette. Since then I bought a T-shirt and hat at Bloomington Gold in 2013. I try to make it a point not to wear the Vette hat or shirts when I'm driving my Vette. If I'm going to an all corvette gathering then maybe.
I think it's a little tacky wearing the apparel for the vehicle that you're driving. To me it's the same thing as wearing a bands t-shirt to their own concert. With that said I don't think there's anything wrong with buying a hat/t-shirt/coffee mug of your car brand. It's no different than buying your sports team shirt/hat and no different than buying a designer outfit. You like what you like .
Every day I just wonder why I can't be as cool as all the guys who won't even wear a Corvette cap once in a while while driving their Corvette. Guess you're hip or you're not.
To me it ain't that somebody wearing a cap can't be cool, I just don't/won't... partly that I don't ever wear a cap unless I have to go out in the rain for an extended time (maybe once every couple months?).
As they say; everything in moderation. An office employee who will only wear Harley shirts, vests and belt buckles every single day is definitely off balance IMO. But, to each their own.
Jeez, some of you guys are really passionate about hating clothing.
If you go so far as to make sure none of your clothing has any kind of label, image, or logo, then you may be the obsessive one, not me for wearing a corvette racing t shirt.
Cars are cool, I'm not embarrassed to wear a shirt with corvette on it, I get tons of comments from people who say the have/had Vettes and then as me about mine when I wear them.
Then again who am I to talk, all my shirts are way too tight and my wife usually sets out clothes for me in the morning so I don't have to dig them out myself.
Very, very rarely. I have a few things but really don't like to wear them very often. I hate to be compared to some of the more hard-core over-the-top owners. Some of the guys and gals in the club wear Vette garb all the time. Everything they own has an emblem on it. It gets old...
I have no point to make by owning a Corvette. So I don't advertise it.
I purchased a nice c-5 leather jacket from someone here on the forum. I wear it occasionally, when it's cooler 40-50 and the top's down. Not to dissimilar to wearing leathers when riding scooters. I have the forum tippy-cup that I use frequently. (Great membership gift btw). But no, I don't go in for the matching corvette socks, underwear, t-shirt thing.

I always wear my Corvette Racing team shirt on race day (as Puddy from Seinfeld said: "Gotta support the team"), and one of the various CR t-shirts on qualifying day.

Wasn't that when he bought a boxster or am I thinking of a different show?
We went to a Porsche meet here and saw a few people decked out like that, we got a good chuckle out of it
There was a Porsche parked on the street, he got some undue attention from people thinking it was his... when it went away he placed some boxes under a car cover to carry on the "ownership".

I was thinking of two and a half men when the guy brought home a boxster
Now I'm thinking to get a Ferrari cover and some boxes
