Default Multiple issues after brass gear install // HELP PLEASE

Well I got the oh so common spinning of the gears on one side when I would close my headlights leading them to come up with the parking lights, not go down right all of the time, etc.

I ordered the brass gear replacement, did the conversion on both sides, and reinstalled. Here is what I am now left with...

1) Headlights still come up when the stalk is turned one click aka. parking lights.
2) Headlights will not go down, and do not even make an attempt to go down. The is no noise to indicate that they are trying to do so.
3) The lights themselves no longer come on. Turning the switch to the second click to fire up the headlights does nothing, makes no sound, etc.

I have run around and checked fuses and everything seems to be in the right place. What am I missing? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

OP edited and also probably the source of all of my issues... when I open the drivers door regardless of the position of the the stalk, I get the door chime as though I forgot to turn my lights off. This has to be a major piece of it.

Couple of thoughts...

Did u open the headlight doors manually?

Do you have the Twilight option?

HUZZAH! Tons of troubleshooting led me to discover that I had NOT installed the low beam plugs correctly. The Radioflyer ACA plugs are meant to be installed backwards. I came to that epiphany after hours of messing with a multimeter and eliminating variables... but either way. All better!

Absolutely! I posted for that exact reason as I always seek closure on the threads that have issues similar to mine. I thought I was really running down quite the rabbit hole based on the behavior of the lights when I filmed them. Amazing that a simple flip was the solution.

Glad you got it sorted out. I kept the Radio Flyer installation instructions in the car just in case I every had a problem.

Well done, well reported.
