Just got my new rotors and pads for my C5, and hoped to get them installed right away, but I tore a rotator cuff in my left shoulder, and that put a damper on me installing them.
Can any one recommend a good dependable shop where I can get them installed in Los Angeles?

Thanks.

Bob.

Thanks for your response.

Looking at your site, and the yelp page, it would appear you are heavily into engine repair, which I don't need at this time.
I only want break work done.

Bob.

We do brake work and general services as well.

We have 3 lifts and 5 guys. The only things we don't do is paint and sew, everything else we do.

In fact we have two Vettes in the shop right now for simple brake pad replacements and nothing else.

Give us a call 310-326-2399 we will get you squared away.

Valley pacific frame and suspension are experts at all brakes and suspension, that's all they do, Oh, and I work there too. They are in the San Fernando Valley in canoga park. You can call them at 818-340-3949. Not trying to tell you who is the best shop, just giving you an alternative. Thanks, Corvettebob

Just returned from having the brake work done.
I went with American Heritage , one of the vendors on this site.

Extremely pleased with their work, and would tell any one who needs work on their Vette, to go see these people.
By the look of their shop, Corvettes are all they do.
Really great to have someone working on my car that knows every aspect of the car.
Great shop, and great people to deal with.
It felt great to finally be able to step on the brake and come to a smooth stop without all the shaking and wobbling.

Again, you folks in SoCal go see these people if you need work on your Corvette.
They are in the southbay, but well worth the drive.

Bob.

I meant to chime in earlier but I've been traveling for the past 10 days or so. American Heritage is awesome. I had them do a full brake overhaul, pads, lines, rotors, they were extremely professional to work with and offered a price that was beyond fair.

I work in Anaheim which has three fairly well known Corvette shops in the area (Corvette Mike's and West Coast Corvette being two of them) ans they both suck in comparison to American Heritage.

Will always take my car there for anything more than an oil change from now on.

Hey Bob, I'm glad you got your brakes done and everything turned out well for you but It wasn't very nice of you to call our business after receiving a recommendation from a fellow corvette member on here and make an appointment with our company to do your brakes then not showing up, not even a phone call to cancel it either. I told my boss that I had reached out to another corvette member and that he was bringing his car to us for his business. My boss was very pleased that I did that, but when you never showed up for your appointment or never called us to cancel, you made me look very bad. It was me that you actually talked to on the phone and made your appointment with too. Just try and be a little more respectful in the future please...CorvetteBob

Bob, you must have me confused with someone else.
You and I talked on the phone regarding what needed to be done, and you stated you would talk to your boss, and get back to me, to set up a time for me to come in, and you never did.
We did not make any arraingement That was what I was waiting for from you.

That's why I went with another company, because you didn't call me back.

Bob.

Bob.

I am totally sorry Bob, I did get you confused with another Corvette customer of ours, but I shamelessly admit that I did miss place your phone number and never called you back that day, and after that I totally forgot about the whole conversation as I only work there two days a week. I apologize to you for any inconvenience that caused you. You seemed to get your brakes done to your satisfaction elsewhere and I am glad that it all turned out well for you. The last thing I ever want to do is misslead another Corvette owner. I hope that maybe sometime in the future we can be of service to you and make up my mistake to you somehow. Hopefully still your friend... CorvetteBob

Bob we all make mistakes at one time or another.
No biggie.
Sometime I would like to come out to your shop and take a look at your Vette.
Yellow is my favorite color on a C5.
