Been away from home for a couple of weeks and was excited to be back and get in the Corvette for a spin. But first things first, I needed to mow , then I see it. A bare brown spot where my 16 ft flatbed trailer used to reside. I guess they noticed the grass had not been mowed so must not be anyone at home. I am still steaming
Sorry to hear it. I can't stand stuff like that, I lost a $3000 bicycle out of the back of a locked shop van.
That moment when you haven't quite wrapped your mind around what is happening is awful, my bike was covered by insurance, hopefully your trailer will be too.
Very sorry to hear that! If they catch the scumbag and get it back, you may want to consider one of these. I've used one for years. Now, someone potentially can still steal it but it sure makes it more difficult.
Thieves are second only to goblin predators who actually injure folks during robbery or assaults. I spent 30+ years dealing with these bastards who feel, because they are too lazy to work for it themselves, that they are entitled to take in a few minutes what you spent days, weeks, months or whatever, working your *** off to acquire that item. There is only one sure way to deal with these goblins, and that is, whenever possible, deal them a profoundly life altering experience. The courts are generally useless when dealing with thefts, little or no punishment. The goblins simply look at an arrest for theft as an inconvenience and go right back to their jobs (relieving you of hard earned possessions with minimal time and effort expended), as quickly as possible. Maybe, with the right leadership, our country will again take a stance where the average hard working and responsible citizens are cherished and guarded and the goblins are dealt with in such a fashion that will truly discourage the further victimizing of good folks. Until that times comes, and I fear its a ways off, things are getting worse, not better, the good people need to watch out for themselves, their families and their neighbors and take appropriate action when required. Always remember that the chances of having a law enforcement officer close enough to you to actually prevent a crime or injury to you or your family is extremely remote. Y'all take care!
If it helps any... drove up on a location a few years back... had a rod trailer loaded with a string of rods... kind of a remote place, someone from the crew had to be in on it...the rod trailer with about $7000 worth of rods were gone never to be seen again...
I hate thieves as much as I hate vandals. Scum of the earth. Seems like more and more of these crimes are being committed these days.
Hope they catch the lowlifes.
They will take a report but that's about it. So many meth heads running around taking anything not nailed down it's only by chance that anything is ever recovered or thieves caught. I'm more concerned about them returning when I'm not here and taking more of my stuff.
Sorry man, that sucks.......
How's that Transponder technology coming along, is it getting affordable?
I'd love to show up to that dude's (thief's) house with law enforcement....:hammer:
