98 problems?
I have always been a C6 guy but things happen and now I am without a Corvette. Turns out a good friend is selling a 98 6spd manual coupe w/58K miles. The car is well maintained.
Are there any issues to be aware of that are specific to 98's or C5's that I should be aware of?

Lots of good info in those links above. I have a 98 A4 with 109k miles and it has been an excellent car since I've owned it. No major problems thus far. As long as the car is well maintained and the price is right, I'd say go far it.
