Hi all, was just wondering if anyone has figured out how to add a usb port to our stock bose units instead of just the rca port. This would add a great deal of usefullness to our sound systems.Great forum by the way. I am aware of the add on units from dd,s I would like this installed directly to the face of stock unit.

I know there were kits to add the mini jack. If you got a peek at it's wiring diagram you could always buy a usb to rca adaptor, modify it and wire it into the radio. You would need to find 5 volts inside the radio, ground and the audio input points. I would mount the usb in the faceplate and cut off the Rca for video and run the wires you need into the radio itself.
