A trustworthy family member and a super hot C-5 .That's like asking your brother to look after you hot wife wile I'm gone for 2 years LOL . I don't think a really nice C-5 will drop in price that much in 2 years ,just your Ok C-5 might but this is a really nice one I think it will hold up in price if can sell it now for the money sell if not if not look what you got sitting waiting for you when you get back . ZR 1s are not going anywhere and the price on them will be down in two years and the resale on the C-5 should be about the same . The ZR-1s are to me as good as Corvettes get , In my Corvette club we have 3 , super nice rides . I like them better that the C-7 Zs..
My bro has enough toys to keep him fullly occupied. I trust him implicitly so no issues with him babysitting the Z for a few years if I decide to keep her. It would be awesome to have both this and a ZR1 side-by-side in the garage one of these days...Frivolous I know, but can't take $$ with you once you go Tango Uniform so might as well spend some of it on toys...
I followed this one when it was for sale. This would be my honest advice. NO WAY I WOULD SELL IT!!! Seriously the chances of you finding another c5z like that are beyond slim. Its one of my favorites are is at this point a completed build. Just store it at a clinate controlled storage and im sure u can have someone you trust start it up and drive it a couple times ect. Or there are procedures to store it long term. You own it out right so thats a plus. This just wouldnt be a car i would sell.
I may have to post a detailed build sheet. There are for sure nice used C5Z's out there, but not too many that have this level of attention to detail. Not tooting my own horn at all, as I purchased it from MotoJB, who spent his daughter's college tuition building the C5Z. Simply put, it would be fiscally irresponsible to replicate this car.

Maybe now, but will you feel the same in 3 years? That's a loooong time. I couldn't bother.
