Default Front end floaty

A little background on my car
03 z06
43xxx miles
275/35/18 up front
345/30/19 rear
Stock specs on alignment
Front tires have 3k miles on them
Read have about 1000
Stock C5 Z suspension

I currently have a floaty feeling in my front end it wants to track weird. The best way I can describe it is when you load a 1500 truck up with too much crap in the bed of it and the front end wants to wonder around and feels light and unstable. I am lost on what this could be. I recently had the P/s rack out so I put a new bushings and sleeve in that. My only other next this was to just start replacing stuff like bushings. I hate to just throw money at it like that so I am wondering what you guys think.

Everything is right under the car so it's not something loose it just doesn't feel as responsive anymore like it used too.

Thanks in advice for any help/advice!

Edit: this is at low speeds not as much high speeds much more noticeable slower.

The only thing I can think of is your toe settings are out of whack. I would get an alignment again. Perhaps use a little more aggressive alignment such as PFADT's street guide.

I was going to do that I just hate to waste money on alignment and if it doesn't fix it and I end up replacing bushings or something I have to get an alignment again. I just ordered sway bar bushings for good measures and they are easy to replace I am going to look at my control arms as well but don't really want to replace those because they are a lot of work.

when I think of "floaty", suspension comes to mind..any idea on the condition of the shocks? Has the car been driven hard in auto x or road courses?
Have you checked the front leaf spring for any cracks or damages? Its really hard to tell sometimes so you need to really get in there to inspect the leaf spring.

Never even crossed my mind about the leaf springs I will take a look at those. No the car was owned by an older gentle and his wife and him took it on corvette cruises previously it has never been tracked. I will take a look at leaf springs as well.

Yes, I would do an alignment, AND add 2004 Z06 shocks. I believe that your shocks are bad.

I already have c6z shocks on order! I am thinking shocks and a little more aggressive alignment.

That's the problem I can't remember for sure. I had a bunch of blower belt issues and fought them all year. I would drive the car for 2 miles or less and pitch a belt so I don't remember when this issue started and my mind was so focused on something else it could have been doing it for a while and I just didn't notice. From what I remember I drove the car one time and it felt great and the next time I drove it it didn't feel right.
