Main thing is you like it☺, as for me not so much, I personally don't care for cf look, but what I do see on the door and console is cross stiched leather, cf, and factory plastic all coming together. Maybe if the other factory plastic pieces were cf (or left orginal) it wouldn't look so busy. But it looks the like the quality of work is great.

Way too much going on in there, nothing flows...........all that matters is the owner likes it though.

Seems a bit busy for me, but as long as you are happy with it.

There was a ZR1 with custom interior and had some very subtle diamond tuck that I thought went very well in that car.

The awful OE seats are the only real change I want to make to my interior. While the C5 interior is a bit dated, it is a C5 so I don't mind.

Looks like good workmanship on your part from another Morristown guy! By the way, had friends that grew up in the big white victorian mansion that sits in the island in the middle of the road, right across from the Governor Morris Hotel. Heather, my friend who grew up there, is now president of the historical society based in Acorn Hall. Best wishes to you and once again, nice job!

Thanks, I'd love to know more about that house!
Thanks all for the input. The leather is from Redline all installed by me. I did the CF as well. It's "ARLON" a similar product to 3m 1080. That's the second application, since I learned the hard way that dinoc is not the right product for that application. (It's twice as thick, has little stretch and a much stronger memory). I like British/Italian interiors that lean towards overdone.
I don't understand the loose reference since every leather surface is glued to substrate with 3M high strength 90. Perhaps the fact that the leather is also padded, which I wanted to increase the textured look, gives that impression.
I agree about the seats, and I'm not sure what I want to do with them. I was going to go with plain perforated leather with maybe diamond stitch seating, but now I know that is too much. No one's going to like seeing this, but I don't like leather seating, and may get a set of Wet Okole covers like I had on my Z, because the comfort is amazing.
Someone mentioned taking a pic of the whole interior, not sure what angle to do that from.

The house was occupied by the Wyse family for many, many years until very recently. Mr and Mrs Wyse were both MD's and passed away not long ago. The house was built during Morristowns "Golden Age" which ran from the 1870's to around 1929. At one time, during that era, Morristown boasted more millionaires per square mile than anywhere else on earth. If you would like an in depth look with photos and narrative on that golden age life style, go to the Morristown Public Library on South Street and inquire on a book titled "Morristown, The Golden Age! Its a fascinating place, full of incredible history. I was there for 30+ years and constantly learned some new incredible historical facts. Hope this helps, best wishes to you!

Look really too busy for me. I can see that in a Lexus LS400, but in a Corvette more like the CF stuff will look better.

As everyone has mention. It is your car, do what you feel is right.

I agree with the seat references, I saved them for last for a reason. Redline does not do seats, so I cannot match the leather.
I'm open to any reasonable suggestions.

As far as customizing your seats is concerned I would go with either leatherseats.com or vette essentials.

I'd take a step away from the checkbook for a while. (yeah, I'm old) I wish I'd have had some common sense when I was modding my car.

I agree with some of the others that there is a lot going on and right now looks like there is no flow or pattern, but im confident when you get the seats done it will change all that.

In terms of options for th seats you have no options other then going with a criss cross pattern to match the rest of the car

Otherwise it will really look like a frankenstien interior that was thrown together with different parts

Don't worry man its looking good, just find aleather company that offers a similar cross pattern (there are many), and just get it as close as you can

if its a little different no one will notice

Interior Innovations and leatherseats.com seem to offer what would work. I.I. has a diamond stitch pattern seat surface option which can be in any color stitching combined with perf. leather. That might work, or leatherseats can do contrasting top stitching or piping.
I'm afraid I don't understand the flow references, I know full well there's a lot going on, but the 'flow" I was creating was the lower section in the diamond stitch, center and accents in CF, and the original plain black filling out the rest. I would have continued the leather up the radio bezel, but again the product was not available.

cool, go with one of those, show them the photos of your stitch pattern and ask them to try to match it as best they can

The "flow" issue is that you now have the stock plastic pieces, carbon fibre, criss cross leather with red stitching and the stock leather seats....so its 4 contrasting themes all in one

But once you get the seats done it will really bring a lot of it together in my opinion
