Think we traded comments back a couple of months ago when you mentioned heading this way. Did a quick check of local area clubs and the one in the link seems the most active (events soon) you might want to drop in on those that are close. Send me a PM if you want to meet up some evening and just talk about the area. I'm on the south end of Cary

4th Sat. every month (this week!) we have a hugh 200+ cars and coffee in Wake Forest at Gateway Commons shopping center. It it intersection of 98 and Jones Dairy Roads.
Charlotte Fall show is end of September that is a Carlisle like show.

Burning Brakes
Kickback Jacks had a pretty nice turn out last night also. I wasn't there for the cars I was there with a girl so I didn't really get a good look at what all was out there. But they had some quality cars from what I saw. One guy had a Boosted 01 Camaro that was a sleeper. Should check it out sometime. They have good food also.
