X-pipe install?
Been out of the C5 world for a while now. Have an 03' vert with a CAI, Z06 exhaust a canned tune. Going to Carlisle this week and they always have great deals on x-pipes, usually with free install. Are these worthwhile, maybe to get a little more sound and a couple of HP, and is there one that might be better than another? Thanx.

If you still have the factory H-pipe it will get rid of the popcorn sound during DE-acceleration,
Gains are 2 to 3 hp.
I have a corsa x-pipe. Did it myself. Ez install and Like it very much,.

When I had my '00 with a B&B Route 66 catback, I was getting a lot of drone and popping from the exhaust. I installed a Bassani X-pipe and it cured those two issues. To me at least, it did seem to deepen the exhaust note but I can't say there was any change in hp form that install. Even if there was it was so minor it wasn't felt.
