WOT Engine Rattling?

WOT Engine Rattling?
So one of the things that I've noticed on my 04 A4 C5 is that there is a slight rattle coming from somewhere in my engine bay at WOT.
This usually happens when I'm in third gear, floor it, and the car downshifts to second. What's interesting is that the rattling will carry itself all the way through second gear but when the car shifts to third again, the rattle goes away.
When I'm not going WOT or pushing the car, the car seems to go through the gears quite nicely and without issue.
This particular rattle doesn't seem to affect performance too much (e.g. it's not like I am noticing the car fighting a mechanical problem or anything like that) it just sounds like something isn't right.
Does anyone have any insights by any chance?

Also be very cautious of detonation with these cars, it sounds just like rattling.
The best advice I got when I first got my car was to do an old ferrari tune up and cruise on the interstate in 3rd or 4th (maybe use 2nd or 3rd for yours being an auto)
Several people mentioned it was probably from the car not being driven hard before I got it, unsure if it was true or not, but the 3rd gear highway run seemed to fix the problem entirely.
Either that or it wasn't really detonation, and whatever was rattling rattled all the way off, but who cares, right?
