no, because of my ‘Wannabe Engineer, detail oriented OCD”, I got to know Mike at Vettestripes.com when I got the originals. When I asked him if he could do a partial cut he assured me it would be no problem.
Because he cuts them on a large plotter, the curves and other details are always consistent resulting in a remarkable fit. He has the greatest variety and color flexibility for corvette stripes I have ever found online, and he’s not afraid to express his opinion if the things something won’t look good!
Sometimes paying for someone else’s knowledge and equipment investment is worth every penny. I can never get graceful and symmetrical curves to come out like he does.
Ok Pewter People, this thread has been dormant long enough. I've seen some of the other color threads resurrected over the last couple of months, I'm sure we have some new/updates to add. Let's see em'!
Just love how 23 yr old paint still shines ... Not ideal though to post a pic after that sweet stance above but hopefully this summer i lower her on those stock bolts
Hoping to have updated pictures of mine this weekend if I get the new wheels put on. Waiting on the rear tires to come in.
So far from this pic, exterior wise. Ive removed the cross flags on the pillars. Painted the calipers a bright blue (tried to mimmick the color that comes on the new land rover defender v8's. And putting a set of staggered deep dish 17F/18R y2k wheels (black with machined lip). Everything else ive been doing has been performance, suspension, and interior. Have lots more parts left to install and some on order.
