Corvette mods switchback drl
I installed the corvette mods DRL led switchback bulbs and was under the impression they would be white until the turn signal was turned on. However they're yellow all the time. I am sure I messed something up, but have no idea what and they're closed until Monday. Anyone have any experiences with these lights?

it depends which ones you have as there are many varieties... mine are amber on the drl and turn signal when the parking lights are off... when you turn the parking lights on they are white and will switch between white and amber when the turn signal is on

They will be yellow untill you turn on your parking lights or head lights. if you want them to be white all the time untill you turn on your turn signal you need a special harness (PLUG AND PLAY) from Radio Flyer.

I researched this a while back. As RVETTE42 mentioned, the only way to have white DRL's all of the time and have the bulbs turn amber when flashing is to use the Radioflyer harness, which isn't cheap.

I've just ordered a set which don't switch back when the parking lights are on. The white LEDs remain illuminated while the ambers flash so that you can't tell that the signal is operating. Anonymous member of tech support at Corvette Mods first claimed that's the intended operation, then states that you need to upgrade to the "super brights" in order for them to operate as advertised on their site.

Order from somewhere else man you'll have much better luck. Wait till you see the runaround you get when you try to return them, good luck. Sorry for your hassle.

just a heads up to anyone that has gotten the short end of the stick with that company, it now appears they are operating another name under the same roof probably due to the bad reputation corvette mods has... the other name is modern gen auto... I just happened to stumble across modern gen when looking for something else and found it very strange for 2 companies specializing in the same parts to be operating out of the same building
