I can't seem to find Gatorback belts anywhere.
Is there any suitable replacement out there that people have had luck with?
Goodyear sold their belt division to Continental. Gatorbacks still available under the Continental Elite brand name. Same belt, same quality. Yes, it's the same German owned company that makes tires.
Of course there's the option that no one mentioned which is genuine GM which can be purchased very reasonably thru Gm Parts Direct.
Part # are 19244950 and 19172680. I believe the two belts will cost you under $100.
Once the squeaking started, I couldn't wait long enough to order them. I hadn't even put 1,000 miles on it since I purchased it when I heard it. I bought the best that they offered at napa then ordered a set of gatorback belts for my road kit. It seems like they would sell more belts if they would actually put them on some shelves at major retailers. I know everyone is going online, but they are belts.

The CEs are a premium belt. Most people only care about ONE thing: price.

That is an option but when you can get both Gatorback belts off amazon for $35 it seems kinda silly to even consider the AC Delco.

Well, most retailers already have long established product ties with other brands, i.e. Dayco, Gates, etc. The Continental brand name is relatively new to the U.S. and even before that, the Goodyear brand was not being sold in most brick/mortar retail outlets.

I'm still on my original belts, but I do have a set of the Gatorbacks as replacements when the time comes.
