I hate this !!!!

Try to enjoy the friends and family as much as you can. Have some fun.
Although I have lost some family members to cancer, there have been some that the original prognosis didn't turn out as bad as expected. My brother and his wife both had cancer and are doing fine now. I had cancer over 40 years ago and they told me I would not live a year. I had cancer again 3 years ago and they told me I would not live a year. I also have a brain tumor and not to mention heart problems, but I still feel good.
So I have adopted a plan to make the most of my time and enjoy all the things I can.
I hope you can find a plan to enjoy every minute and have some fun. Hopefully for long time.

Cancer does not like a alkaline environment if he does the best he can to eat foods that keep his body in a alkaline state and not acidic he will feel much better and possibly live longer.

About 3 years ago I lost my brother in law to cancer. He was also a Corvette enthusiast. I had to sell his C6 and it was a hard thing to do. God Bless!
We are all terminal. Life must carry on. Just do the best you can.

Finally, the pathology reports are conclusive as Peritoneal Mesothelioma, Epithelia and Sarcomatoid types.
It is asbestos caused and there is no cure.
NOW the Most recent and positive info. I went to Duke Universty Medical Center one of a few that use a new and GOLD STANDARD treatment process called CRS (debulking) and HIPEC a heated chemo. It is a 5-10 hour on the table process. If it does not kill you or serious complication are not experienced, the recovery is 60-90 days. It has the potential to extend life 36-100 months. I am scheduled for surgery on December 6th. If the initial laparoscopic stage of evaluation indicates that most of the tumors can be taken out, then the major incision is made and tumor removal begins. Spleen, tumors, omentum, part of stomach and, perhaps, part of intestines will go. Then 1.5 ours of hyperthermic, intrabdominal chemo will be circulated in entire abdominal cavity. Then cool down and closure. Sounds like real fun, but I am on-board and have already gotten my immune vaccinations. Of course, if he cannot do it , back to square one, lots of ganja and morphine. Got to roll the dice and hope for a good procedure and outcome. Currently, my weight is stable and I have little pain. Have resumed execise routine. ill keep you posted.
God Bless All,
David

Prayers for both David and his family
