The Euro import crowd that have a car that they'll fit on like them because 1) the wagon wheels are actually a really good wheel that people don't give it credit for (fairly light for what it is and well-built), 2) the 17"/18" staggered setup with RWD offset results in what is a pretty good wheel profile compared to what most of their cars come with, and 3) said wheel profile allows for fairly affordable tire that won't break the bank as opposed to running an aftermarket wheel that requires a tire with a really low sidewall profile.
You can probably find a list of what they'll fit online. They'll fit F-bodies, most GM five lug trucks, as shown VWs Audis & BMWs. They don't fit Mustangs and most other Fords and most Japanese imports.
