Also, give my experience at Dan Tobin Chevrolet in Dublin Ohio.
As you all know my car wouldn't start on a Sunday so I towed it to Goodyear as they are open Sundays. They did a day and a half worth of tests and concluded it had to do with theft deterrent and/or key recognition. They charged me $46 for their work as they were sorry they couldn't get it running. I then towed the car to Dan Tobin Chevrolet down the road on Monday afternoon. When I got there I agreed to pay 1 hour worth of diagnostics. The car was pushed into a bay, put jumper cables to it for a few minutes and the car started right up. The tech told me he couldn't do any diagnostics since there are no codes and the car was running. He told me he was going to leave the car on a charger for 15 minutes. The dealership charged me $125 for my visit. They did nothing to my car nor did they do any diagnostics. They didn't have the car back in the bay for more than 30 minutes. I talked to their service manager and they told me they would not wave any fees although the pretty lady in front of me had her two days worth of loaner car fees waved. I am a fair person and don't mind paying for what is agreed upon, but if I'm paying for no real service I will be inclined to complain.
