Default 2003 convertable ride

I just recently purchased a 2003 collectors edition from Toyota in Jacksonville, Florida with only 19000 miles. The ride around there and back to Ms on the Interstate was fine. But later on the back roads around here the ride was very bad, I later found out that the previous two owners had left the shipping pucks in on each shock which I feel like the dealership which originally sold the car should have removed. After simply removing the shipping pucks I have a great ride. Thanks to the two previous owners I have a great ride.

All I can say is wow! The two PO's probably offer their "expert" opinions on how bad the ride is in the Vette!

They must have not gotten the memo.

Lets see 2003 with just 19,000 miles. I'd say the original 13 year old run flats are still on the car.

No they had been replaced by cheap non run flats. Probably trying to improve the ride,

That's been a problem that has been posted about a lot here on the forum. It is amazing that those shipping pucks were left in all those years.

That Vet most likely would have never been on the market had those pucks been removed. The previous owners probably got tired of the ride. Great find, enjoy the NEW ride.

Did you test drive it before you bought it? What did you think of the ride?

Call up the previous owners and tell them what you found, then you can **** off both of them for selling the car.

Yes I did try it out and the roads around there and the roads back home were smooth, it was not till I drove on the back roads around here, I was almost ready to get rid of it when I discovered the problem.
