Default Vette Candy Steering Wheel Installed....

I finally got my Vette Candy steering wheel installed today. I love the way it looks. When driving, it feels nice, but it feels huge. LOL I think that's just because it's so thick.

I gotta take some better interior shots, but for now...

Wow! I hate how thin the factory wheel is but that looks a little to thick...what does one of those run anyway?

That is a good looking steering wheel. It does look pretty thick - let us know how it feels once you have driven the car for a while.

$599 plus core if you don't have a spare. I bought a spare on the forum and sent it in.

Before I purchased mine, I got the opinions of two forum members that already purchased this wheel. They had nothing but good things to say. Although, in looking at photos, the bottom of their wheels actually doesn't look as thick as mine. (They actually have two different wheels. They call it D-Curve style and D-Premium style, but the two wheels are the same price and are very similar.)

I can understand subtle differences in products that are "made to order." It's like getting a couple burgers at your favorite burger place. You order ketchup and mustard on both, but one may have a bit more mustard.

I think I got a bit more mustard. LOL No complaints when driving home or out to dinner yesterday.

Here are the wheels of the two forum members I communicated with before purchase:

Thanks everyone.

id definitely say its the one of the nicest wheel replacement ive seen so far for the C5

but in all honesty they seemed to have botched the proportions on yours , the bottom is just wayyy too thick and there is no reason for that

The other guys wheels look alot better, no offense

Its not enough to send it back but its enough to ask for a partial refund in my opinion

If their quality control is that far off between different wheels id never order form them

EDIT: from the front view its not all that bad, but I think it would still bother me a little bit, but nice wheel nonetheless

I actually think it's the difference between the D-Curve style and D-Premium style? Although the vendor said that the two forum members wheels pictured above were two different wheels, I believe that they both have the D-Curve style and mine is the D-Premium style. The vendor and I sent a lot of PMs back and forth and I honestly don't remember which one I chose. LOL

At this point, I'm happy. I think I'll see if the vendor wants to check out the thread.
