"BILSTEIN Technical Center - The official Bilstein Shock Absorber shop in the US offering complete rebuild of most A.M. dampers and customized valving of your aftermarket dampers for motorsports use."
From a couple other boards I am on, the only people who seem to use this service are looking for a custom setup. Bilstein do claim to have a lifetime warranty though, IF you have the original invoice.....
Gene Culley just had a big sale on GM C6 Z51 and C6 Z06 shocks. The Z51 shocks would be a good choice with the OEM C5 sway bars. Or get the C6 Z51 bars and shocks! They are a bolt-in swap.

Nope.... I have the Hotchkis sway bars on the car.
Plus I'm thinking of lowering the car. I may just end up swapping out to a set of C6 Z06 shocks. I'm not very impressed with the Bilstein shocks.
I recently put stock AC Delco '13 Z06 shocks on my high-mileage '04 Z06. I noticed no difference whatsoever in ride or handling. Which, I guess, is a good thing. I only replaced the shocks because of the mileage on the originals.

You know, its funny you said that. I replaced my Z51 suspension shocks ONLY because of the mileage on my FRC and NOT because they were leaking or bad. And there REALLY was no difference in the way the car rides or handles.
Hmm, I have been looking to replace my shocks and sways with the standard C6Z shocks and C6 Z51 sway bars due to the 140k miles I am pushing. Maybe I'll just toss the plastic links and call it a day until they leak if they don't feel much different.

Seriously..... I'm considering cleaning all the road grime and dirt off my old Z51 shocks and putting them back on the car until they truly give out !
