Default Quad projector project done!

Passenger side is completed with the exception of restoring my clear lens cover. I'll do both covers when I complete the drivers side. Should finish the drivers side easily tomorrow but painting will hold up couple more days. I had to do minor mod to the actuator arm. I had only two projectors, so I had to purchase two more plus four chrome bezels, and two 6k bulbs. I had four the ballasts. I removed a set of old ACAs. Operation is two projectors on dim and four projectors on bright!! Can't wait to do test at night and do the final aiming. I'm into it cost wise $260.00. Not including wiring and relays. Oh and clean the dirty hand prints on the nose. Lol

Thank you! The light housings are GM OEM and they are actually made really good. The housings allowed me to be able to adjust the depth of installing the projectors especially near the actuator arm and even then had to modify the arm. I struggled many many times with how to align the four projectors correctly, exactly the same so the final aiming would be close to my existing lights. I marked and noted all of the beams shining on a wall of my old existing lights and marked with tape, so that I had a guide for the new lights. I decided to paint the housings gloss black instead of leaving them the stock chrome. Either way I think they would look good. The challenge was well, ,,,,, challenging. I wanted something I could be happy with and proud of, personalizing my car. Plenty of mistakes made and do things over and over to get at this final stage. In my retirement there are just so many fun things in life to do and make, I'll never run out of things to do.
