Hood struts, replacement?
Hi all,
my hood struts no longer keep the hood up for more then a few minutes then it slowly falls back down. i decided to buy replacement struts but no instructions!!
does anyone have a set of instructions or know where i can find a youtube or instruction list on how to replace them?
or can anyone help explain exactly what i need to do to pull the old ones off and put the new ones on. i am mostly unsure where the connecting points are...
thanks!!

Thank you!!! I'll check out that video. Was hoping it was easy. I swear nothing on a vette is easy to replace.

Hope this goes faster

I did mine in about two minutes. The first one I flung the clip several feet and had to look for it. That took about 15 seconds of the two minutes! Very easy job. Good luck.

You're lucky. If it were me, it would've flown into a dark crevice behind a stack of stuff that hadn't been moved for many moons.

Is it the same type for convertible roof cover... Sick of it closing on my arm when I'm putting rough down
